Allow me to share my perspective. Forgiving others benefits oneself, not the person being forgiven. Establishing boundaries and forgiving are distinct actions. While I forgive everyone, it does not imply I trust them or permit them to make the same mistakes again.

Humans are shaped by their instincts and nature. The system of rewards and punishments tends to be effective with them. Change in others often occurs when they are given opportunities to make amends. If not, what’s the point? People are influenced by their psychological makeup, and we must either accept them fully or move on.

Your insights are valuable, my friend, and I'm not disagreeing with your viewpoint. This is merely my perspective, which I offer with respect and understanding of yours.
