Dana, that's a beautiful post, and by all means, you are an excellent writer. I humbly believe that you can earn more with less content if you apply a couple of tactics to get more reads which I will share in next month's medium’s income report. I take writing on medium seriously as a project and find out if it is worth it for other professionals to make a living. The Medium algorithm is tricky and in some sort bitchy; I have been following the data for a while, and the earnings per minute differs a lot by day and by topic. The algorithm also sometimes behaves against you and sometimes in your favor, and you need to find suitable days to push the most with promoting your account, such as clapping and highlighting other people's articles.
