Douglas, throughout my life, I have seen many wealthy, selfish people. On the surface, they all seem self-absorbed, but the moments that made them pause, shed a tear, or change the trajectory of their lives were when they felt something deep in their hearts, opened their wallets, and gave to someone asking for money while gathered in a fancy coffee shop or restaurant. They found true happiness and comfort in the giving. Humans may seem selfish, but those who are truly selfish, inside and out, are rare.
