Environment and social influence can trump instincts. Watch a mother dog who fed a tiger and a lion walk around them with no fear. According to their intuition, they should eat it. But the facts show they haven't. I had this conversation with a friend previously. We concluded that instincts and genes might play a small part in human behavior. Some people might be born with more brain matter in some areas than others; however, the environment and social influence will play a more significant role. That's Only my thought.
