I actually wrote an entire piece about this topic, "The Myth of Short-Form Writing." It's not about the length but the depth of the information and what the reader is looking for. There is a difference between someone who writes to gain engagement and a reader. My best-performing articles in terms of earnings are those with more reads but less engagement, and they are mostly about six to eight minutes long. Most people who read carefully barely leave a comment, and a boost can be proof of that.
