Scammers play for a short period and earn little money, then leave. Their content is a commodity and pretty competitive, so their earnings become less over time. I honestly believe that the people who earn the most on Medium are the ones who talk about a core topic such as money, sex, spirituality, or health but understand what the reader of Medium like to hear and how they enjoy consuming content.
