I understand how you feel, my friend; no worries. Every platform serves a specific kind of reader's interest, and you can find that what is trending on YouTube might not be the case on Instagram. I don't think that there are no readers for creative content online; creative writing might flourish somewhere else. I know some poets with decent following and readership here; however, they spend an enormous effort connecting with other poets. I don't think analytics limit creativity; it can direct it, but if you like to write what comes to mind, that's cool; however, you might have to work harder on finding and connecting with similar people on the platform. I'm only trying to understand the nature of Medium, not to define it, my friend, and I might be wrong 😊
