If Life Isn’t About Money, What Is Life All About?
Okay, I get it; I’m an empty man; I only care about money and nothing else. I was hoping you could fill me up with your wisdom and teach me more about the philosophy of life.
Here is the situation; somehow, I can’t wrap my mind around the idea that in today’s society, money isn’t everything. I feel that everyone is trying to build a case against money and support their argument with fluffy concepts that have no practical effect on their daily struggles.
In your opinion, If life is not all about money, then what is it about? Is it watching Netflix and porn? Is it playing computer games and cursing strangers? Is it gossiping about friends online with people you never met? Is it about pretending to connect with people you don’t care about on social media? Is it writing daily on Medium? Is it about traveling around the world on a budget? Or what? Could anyone explain?
I beg you to help me understand contemporary life better. How money isn’t everything if your hands can’t reach any of that stuff without cash, even love and friendships cost a lot of money these days, no?
Maybe I’m just an empty man, but I hope I’m not blind or stupid. Logically, life isn’t about money. Life is about living, but my struggle is how someone can afford to live without money.
