Maria, it's surprising to hear about such situations in Australia. I always believed they had price controls and systems in place to uphold the dignity and well-being of its residents. Anyone working should be able to secure the basics: healthy food, housing, education, and healthcare. Capitalism shouldn't prioritize profit above all. It's about rewarding those who go the extra mile or take greater risks, but never at the cost of the fundamental needs of the broader community.
