Here we go again: My account has been impersonated for the fourth time. Scam and spam responses have spread across my posts and friends’ articles.
Medium, I have a friendly suggestion that might enhance user experience. Could you consider making comments accessible only to paid subscribers? I believe it would save us all the frustration and give your spam filter a break.
I believe comments should be a privilege reserved for those who invest in the platform. I don’t think most spammers and scam accounts are willing to pay a penny, let alone $5, every time they want to impersonate an account and spread spam messages. I hope this suggestion makes sense.
