Should You Be A Professional Writer to Write on Medium?

Am I qualified to share my ideas on Medium? A question has always been giving me an itch in the brain and a big thumb in the nose a long time before writing on Medium or becoming a blogger; I hope now you can understand why I always sound like someone screwing himself in the head.

I’m sure many existing and new writers share that same itch when presenting their works on Medium or any publication.

I had the chance to go through hundreds of comments, and I have noticed that many writers here take pride in being expert writers on Medium. They say they were readers and learned from other writers on Medium for at least a couple of years then, and only then did they have the privilege and confidence to write on Medium.

Come onnnn, Give me a break! Don’t you think they are exaggerating? I have no patience waiting for a couple of seconds to eat a mouth-watering chocolate cake. The moment I smell that sweet smell, I jump with my fours and be the first to take my share, if not the entire cake. What do I care how long it took the chef to learn how to make it?

Isn’t writing supposed to be the pure reflection of the soul? Shouldn’t writing be simple and direct instead of overly sophisticated and planned?
