Ted, my friend, first, I want to thank you for your kind compliment. I have always appreciated your words. Second, I think you have taken this piece much more seriously than intended.

I write to tease; that has always been my style. Some people enjoy it, and some don't. Every day, I gain new readers and lose some, just like any other writer. But that has always been my approach to writing, and it will remain so. People can write in any style; it's their canvas, not mine.

I speak to those who wish to write as I do, not to the 85% or 99%. Sadly, with new technology, the 15% ratio will shrink even more than before, and what worked in the past might not work in the future.
