Cosmic Context: This poetic musing talks about a grieved killer who is running to the woods hiding and thinking of how to make amends for his misconduct. He was discriminated against, called names and was seen with contempt. He was homeless and did not know how the modern world works. Being bullied by others took a toll on him. One nice day, while he was waiting in line at the City Hall to get some personal documents one person came to him and tried to cut him out of the line. In fits of anger, that person punched his face, the punch was so intense that one of his teeth fell out to the ground, which led him to feel a pall of shame, as people around him smirked, but none came to help him. That day after the rich man left city hall he followed him and snooped at his home until midnight. That’s when he came and slit his throat and ran towards the woods opposite to the crime scene. As he runs he is contemplating, how things can be better for him and his brethren, what needs to be done and why retaliationary violence sometimes is the last hope for the injustices people face.
