The differences are not huge if you want to live above the average standard; in Bali, the rent of a lovely small villa is around $800 a month; for that amount, you can rent a good apartment in Istanbul. $1500 a month can give you a good living in Turkey and Bali; $ 2000 a month is better. Turkey is now going through hyperinflation, and prices of commodities and rent are shooting to the roof. Thanks for your comment, Rick
