What I hate the Most About Money
Money is a double sword; it has its angel face as the savior and the healer from the stress of the financial pressure in modern and capitalist society. It has the power to make people happier and more fulfilled.
Sometimes you can call money a miracle, but sometimes it reveals its evil side, and that is when it destroys every beautiful thing around it.
I have been talking a lot about money and the importance of being prosperous, but today I will talk about what I hate the most about money and how to deal with its negative side from a personal perspective.
The first thing I hate the most about money is that it separates people and builds walls between friends and family.
Ever since I got financially comfortable, I discovered that a group of my friends avoided me; they felt they couldn’t afford my lifestyle; therefore, there was no reason to be friends anymore.
I have always been generous with my friend and never asked them to pay for a bill; maybe they feel bad about themselves or ashamed that I always pay. No matter the reason, I don’t particularly appreciate how it made some of my best friends drift away from my life.
