In 2010, I was on an airplane to a conference in San Francisco and had a Sudden Cardiac Arrest. My heart stopped about 30 minutes before landing in San Fran. Again, it wasn’t my time to go. A doctor was sitting in the seat immediately behind me, another doctor was in first class, and a third was on the plane somewhere. (Better Half told me later, because obviously I wasn’t aware of where they came from during this happening.) All three doctors were all attending a conference in San Fran too. They revived me and I’m here to tell the story. What’s the odds of that happening and being literally within feet of three doctors, with a defibrillator and oxygen onboard?
